Heart Attack and drinking warm water….

Not only about the warm water after your meal, but about heart attacks. This makes sense.. the Chinese and

Japanese drink hot tea with their meals…not cold water…maybe it is time we adopt their drinking habit while eating!!!

Nothing to lose, everything to gain… For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you. It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion.

Once this “sludge” reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn in to fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal!.

A serious note about heart attacks: You should know that not every heart attack symp to m is going to be the left arm hurting. Be aware of intense pain in the jaw line.

You may never have the first chest pain during the course of a heart attack. Nausea and intense sweating are also common symptoms.60% of people who have a heart attack while they are asleep do not wake up. Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep. Let’s be careful and be aware. The more we know, the better chance we could survive…

A cardiologist says if everyone who gets this mail sends it to 10 people, you can be sure that we’ll save at least one life.

Alex asked:

If this is not your first panic attack then I`m sure you know what`s going on. The symptoms of panic attacks are very similar to the ones that occur in heart attacks. But, the truth is that you are probably just thinking you are having a heart attack and not actually having one, in most of the cases they are panic attacks and not heart attacks, if you previously have not been diagnoses with any heart diseases.

Medical care is always needed in such situations, however there are natural anxiety treatments available. Really medication is not highly recommended by most skilled practitioners for only one good reason: Anxiety medication will only reduce your anxiety and not cure it.

Are panic attacks treatable?

The horrible fear that another panic attack might hit, is basically what triggers the panic attacks. In the moment you`ll be able to control your emotions, overcome your fears, become more confident. you are on the right way to recovery.

I advise anyone suffering from anxiety to try the different natural anxiety treatments and techniques to cure themselves. This alternative approach lets you treat the root cause of your anxiety instead of only reducing the symptoms of anxiety. You are always free to combine the both, natural anxiety cures and medication. Overcoming panic attacks naturally will even protect you against the bad side-effects of medication which are also highly addictive substances.

Conclusion: It is important to seek for help and overcome your panic attacks naturally, especially when medication is no good. In fact it can be done effectively naturally, thousands of formal anxiety and panic attack sufferers have made it, and I`m sure they are nothing special. So can you!

Panic Away is one of the most effective natural method to overcome anxiety and panic attacks permanently, thousands of people have treated themselves already using Panic Away.

yodez asked:

I currently am having chest pain which radiates to the upper back between the shoulder blades. I feel the discomfort during inspirations and expirations with slight dizziness. However when i take my blood pressure, it shows 138 over 82 with heart beats per minute at 64. I do cadiovascular exercise three to four days a week for about an hour and sometimes more. I do smoke cigarettes, about 20 per three to four days. Is it possible to have a heart attack with normal vitals? should i rush to an emergency room?

My dad had trouble breathing then went to bed and in the middle of the night he could barely breath so he went to the hospital and found out he had a heart attack. Is he going to be okay? What are the chances?

Mr. Lizard asked:

I’ve had a lot of stress, so I think it is only a matter of time before I have my first heart attack. My company is scaling back its health insurance next year, and it would be much cheaper for me to take advantage by having my heart attack this year while my coverage is better.

Having a heart attack and knowing that it was costing me less than it would in January would help me in the road to recovery.

How can I make this happen?

Nicholas Tan asked:

Strict changes in diet and lifestyle can not only prevent heart attacks, but can reverse the clogging of the arteries, according to a small but pioneering study.

The study showed that a vegetarian diet, moderate exercise and an hour a day of yoga and meditation could produce a reversal of atherosclerosis, a blockage of the arteries that can lead to a heart attack, in men and women who were strict in following the daily regimen.

Experts say this is the first study to report that such blockage can be reversed without using cholesterol-lowering drugs or surgery.

The study, which was conducted by Dr. Dean Ornish, director of the Preventive Medicine Research Institute in Sausalito, Calif., was presented at the meeting of the American Heart Association in New Orleans.

This is a tremendously important study in the control of heart disease. It’s the very first study indicating regression of coronary heart disease without pharmaceutical intervention. The results also suggest that the current medical guidelines for changes in the habits of people with severe heart disease do not go far enough.

Previous studies have shown that exercise and diet changes can slow the progression of heart disease, but not reverse it.

While the study did not determine what percentage of improvement could be attributed to the lifestyle changes alone, the researchers noted that stress-control methods have been shown to ease recovery from a variety of disorders, including hypertension.

But some experts are skeptical of the need for stress-management methods, which are not currently among standard recommendations for those with severe heart disease.

Some experts on cardiac rehabilitation question whether most people with heart disease could follow such strict changes in their habits.

Sacha Tarkovsky asked:

If you don’t handle stress it can make you feel tired, drained and depressed - it can also kill you. Here are some simple stress management tips to help you combat stress and preserve your health.

Stress management is the active and constant correction to your body and mind to the forces of stress and pressure.

The worst form of stress is the daily, repetitive and constant stress from any source.

It makes your body constantly react, release hormones and enzymes into your circulatory system, and in the end, destroys your immune system altogether.

Learn to manage stress now, and you can avoid that heart attack and stroke, just waiting to happen.

How Does Someone Know They are Stressed

Many people do not know they are suffering from stress and the effects of stress.

A few simple self-tests, and you can see if you are both stressed and suffering from stress. During any time of the day, do a body survey.

Are you hands clenched? Do you have “nervous leg” (leg moving up and down with the ball of the foot as a pivot)? Is your face tense?

Is there some pains in your shoulders or arms that should not be there? Test you pulse? Is it over 80 beats per minute when you are at rest?

Do you have high blood pressure? If any of these answers are a yes, you can be sure you are being stressed and suffering from stress.

Identify the Stressors

It is very crucial, both for your health, and well-being, to be able to identify the stressors in your life. It is not really difficult. Start now.

Make of list of all those people, situations, and factors that cause you stress.

Make the list first in any order.

Then when you finish all the items that are stressors, you must grade them form 1 to 5, 1 being the worst, and 5 the least.

With the stressors identified and graded, you now can create a system to manage the stress.

Grade 1 Stressors and Actions Required

For all grade 1 stressors, you must find a way to either eliminate or extricate yourself from the stressor source.

If the grade 1 stressor is your boss, you may need a new job.

If it’s a mother-in-law interfering in your happy home life, you may need affirmative action.

Take the list of grade 1 stressors, and put a workable solution next to each item.

Re-read the list, and consider the alternative of not acting on removal of the stressor.

If you get a heart attack or stroke, your life may be over. Acting now can save your life.

Grade 2 to 5 Stressors

For the lesser graded stressors, do exactly as you have done for the grade 1 stressors, but you do not

have to be so critical as you were for the very negative stressors.

If a grade 2 stressor happens to be a neighbor’s annoying cat, you might counter the stress by listening to music you enjoy (and not removing the cat, which you might find impossible to do anyway).

Be less critical, but nevertheless, even in grade 5 stressors, find a workable solution.

Stress First Aid

If you find your hands clinched, or your face tensioned, take one minute “time out”. Sit quietly and relax the tensed and stress reacted areas.

Consciously relax the part of you that is stressed.

This minute is for you. If you can’t find a quiet place to go, use the bathroom.

Put some cold water on your face and wrists. Sit for a moment till you are calm. Do this any time you see yourself stress and tense.

It could save your life.

Leaftech asked:

It’s common knowledge that having a heart attack in your medical history is a red flag when it comes to applying for life insurance, but even with a heart condition, you are not necessarily precluded from being insured, nor will you automatically have to pay exorbitant premiums. Depending on the steps you have taken to treat your heart disease, and the severity of your condition, you may well be able to get a life insurance policy with affordable rates.

According to Christopher Graham, vice president and chief underwriter for Hartford Life, “We are able to offer an insurance policy to the vast majority of people with a history of heart disease.”

Dr. Robert Gleeson, a medical underwriter and vice president at Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company emphasizes the same thing. “We spend our lives underwriting diseases,” he says, “And, as an industry, we’ve had a lot of experience with coronary disease.”

While your heart attack will likely disqualify you from getting the very best life insurance rates, you may be able to qualify for the second-best tier (”standard” as opposed to “‘preferred”) even so.

What can you do to ensure that you pay the lowest possible premium for life insurance after a heart attack? Here are a few tips:

Wait a While. You may be able to save money if you wait a year or two after having a heart attack before you buy life insurance, because the longer you can demonstrate that you are taking care of yourself - good cardiogram readings, for example, and low cholesterol, the less of a risk you will seem to be.

Stay in Treatment: While you’re waiting, you need to be proactive about improving your health. Work with your doctors to change your diet, increase your exercise and take the proper medications to keep your blood pressure stable.

Document Everything. When you do apply for insurance, be sure to provide documentation for everything you’ve been doing. It’s not enough for YOU to know. The insurer must know. Be specific: it will reassure the underwriters buy into your case. Dr. Gleeson explains why: “If someone tells me that they have high blood pressure but doesn’t give me any more information, I don’t feel very good about issuing a policy without getting more information.”

Underwriting procedures vary from insurance company to insurance company and are often updated as medical knowledge changes and different treatments become standardized. If one company rejects your application for post-heart-attack life insurance, try another. Sometimes you have to shop around.

Having a heart attack is frightening enough, but it doesn’t have to leave you without life insurance. If you document your treatment process, and are patient with the system, you should be able to find affordable life insurance coverage despite your heart condition.

How to Avoid a Heart Attack?

Filed Under heart attacks | Comments Off

heart attack
Adam Khan asked:

A heart attack is known as a myocardial infarction. This occurs when the heart muscle is damaged or does not receive enough oxygen. Many cardiac related problems occur due to blockages in arteries that carry purified blood away from the heart to different parts of the body. Another cause is the formation of blood clots.

Very often, it is quite difficult to differentiate between a heart attack and heartburn. The common signs of a heart attack are a tightness, pain, or discomfort in the chest. Sweating, nausea, and vomiting that are accompanied by intense pressure in the chest. A radiating and intense pain in the chest that extends from the chest to the left arm. A shortness of breath for more than a few minutes. If you have any of the above you must consult the doctor or go to the emergency rooms.

If you even think you are having a heart attack you must call for a cardiac care ambulance, and put under your tongue a sorbitrate or chew an aspirin. If you are allergic to aspirin don’t take one. At the hospital care will include rapid thrombolysis, cardiac catheterization, and angioplasty. They will also administer intravenously clot busting medications.

The risk factors for a heart attack include: smoking, diabetes, high levels of cholesterol, hypertension, family history of heart diseases, atherosclerosis, lack of exercise, obesity, and fast foods.

Reduce the risks of a heart attack by:

1. Quitting smoking.

2. Eating healthy. Avoid fatty foods, excess salt, and red meats.

3. Controlling high blood pressure and diabetes.

4. Ensuring regular exercise at least 30 minutes a day. Walking is most beneficial.

5. Preventing obesity. Doing all you can to maintain weight.

6. Choosing to live a healthy lifestyle.

7. Practicing meditation.

8. Doing regular relaxation and breathing exercises.

9. Undergoing periodic cardiac evaluations.

10. Including foods that are rich in anti-oxidants in your diet.

A killer disease, according to the American Heart Association approximately 58.8 million people in the US suffer from heart diseases. And, about 950,000 Americans die of heart ailments each year. Heart diseases and death from it can be prevented by maintaining your health. Find a balance in life between work and other activities, abandon the couch for the outdoors, don’t watch sports on television play sports instead and you can hope to live a long and fulfilled life.

The norm prevention is better than cure could lead a whole nation towards good health and well being.

Eric Glenn asked:

Getting and staying healthy is a very important aspect of many people’s lives. Yet, relatively few people take full advantage of the possibilities that exist for doing more to improve their health. Nutritional supplements are some of the simplest things that you can use to greatly improve your overall well-being. Supplementing your diet takes relatively little time, but can prove priceless to those who can avoid traumatic health concerns later in life by taking care of their body’s now.

Prevention is the best approach to any disease. Fortunately for all of us, it is very difficult to do too much to prevent poor health, especially when it comes to heart health. Heart disease takes more lives in America than any other disease. Fortunately, there is a wide variety of nutritional supplements out there that you can use to help in the prevention of the symptoms of heart disease.

People seem to neglect to do the simple things that it takes to prevent heart attack and stroke for multiple reasons, but perhaps the most common reason is because of inconvenience. We do not want to be troubled to take any more time from our day than we have to. In our fast paced world many take advantage of fast food and fast driving to get from place to place, instead of focusing on thier health and what can be done on each day to make significant improvements. Many people are aware of what such things as the food pyramid are and what nutritious foods are suggested, but no one seems to have the time or the effort to do anything about it. The combination of proper nutrition with supplements is the key to having optimal health. Being in optimal health is the key to avoiding health problems.

So the answer is simple, exert some effort to eat right and take the nutritional supplements that your body needs to keep working at its best. But what types of supplements are there that are specifically formulated to help prevent cardiovascular problems? The answers are found within a unique blend of supplements that combines natural ingredients (such as the Acai berry) with ingredients that are naturally found in the body (such as L-Arginine and L-Citrulline) that when combined restore the body’s natural nutrients and provide a boost that helps all of your systems work at their highest and optimal levels. This type of mixture that takes all of the body’s inner workings into account but puts focused emphasis on what can be done to improve the role of the heart is exactly the kind of product that those who are worried about heart attack and strokes should be looking for.

There have been studies that show that there is even relief for those who are already experiencing the symptoms of an unhealthy heart. Supplements such as L-Arginine can reduce the discomfort of some of those symptoms by allowing for improved blood flow. Although cures for heart disease have yet to be found in herbal supplements and alternative medicines, it has been found that these products can improve the symptoms of these conditions, making it easier to fight through them and safeguard your health. Because lifestyle changes are required, it is easy to see that there is no miracle cure for any disease. Each individual must put forth the required effort if they are concerned about their own health.
